Overseer Valentine R. Archibald Sr. was called by the Lord, who gave his life to him in March 1971.  After receiving the Holy Ghost, he developed a strong desire for the Word of God. As he grew in the Lord, he served under the late Overseer Brown of Full Gospel House of Prayer in Kingston, Jamaica.  He was appointed as a Youth President and an exalter for 15 years. He then attended the Jamaica Evangelistic Center under the leadership of Dr. Rev. V. T. Williams. He served there as a worship leader for 5 years during which time Dr. Rev. Williams ordained him as Minister as he grew to love the word of God, even more, he attended the Open Bible Institute for 2 years. After attending bible school, he was asked by Apostle Keith B. Pitt to start the Holy Ghost Power Ministry Int. at McCook’s Pen, St. Catherine. He served there as the ministry Chairman and Overseer for 10 years. Overseer Archibald is known in Jamaica and the United States as a renowned Tent Evangelist.  

Overseer Archibald met the lovely Missionary Carol Green in August 1989 on a mission trip to Jamaica from the United States. They corresponded for several years and were finally united, in marriage on August 21, 1993. The union has produced three beautiful children, and he is the proud father of four children.  Overseer Archibald migrated and joined his wife in the United States. They attended The New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ Apostolic Inc. under the leadership of Bishop A. G. Blackwood.  With much zeal, fellowship, and communion he was asked by Bishop A.G. Blackwood to start another New Jerusalem Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He ran with the vision for the new work and found favor with God and has been pastoring there for over 20 years. He relocated his family to Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love to further the work. Overseer Archibald is gifted as a Tent Evangelist with healing and anointing.  His passion is to see souls saved for the kingdom of God. Overseer V.R. Archibald currently holds an honorary doctorate
